Being a self-taught artist, Brian Simons has derived much of his inspiration from the 'Group of Seven', the French Impressionists and the Writings of Baha'u'lla'h (Baha'i Faith). Brian's and his family moved to Vancouver Island from Alberta, where he first began to paint approximately 20 years ago. Prior to that, Brian focused mostly on drawing and sketching.
