Carol is an award winning contemporary mixed media artist from Colorado and is known for her vibrant, contemporary abstracts. Her work is a bold exploration of color and texture. Living in Colorado, Carol is inspired by the rocks, cliffs and canyons of the West. Her work is compelling on both a visual and tactile sense.
Carol often features metals, metallic paints, and metal foils in her work, imbuing her work with a soft glow that only metals can achieve. Her palette is rich, earthy, and saturated with the colors of nature.
Carol's early art training came in the form of workshops with nationally known artists, and, more recently, her own experimentation with mixed media.
