My goal is to increase awe and respect for the natural world and the connection with human spirit. Art in some form has been part of my life always, but only recently has it become my life's work. I started with watercolor, then moved to acrylic. I started painting what I saw, and now paint what I remember, or think about, or feel, or just what comes off my hands to the brush to the canvas. One thing about my work that is consistent - I LOVE texture and will use almost anything that is archival to create texture, depth, and interest to my surfaces. My studio is in my home, and I spend most of my days in it - that is, when I am not looking at art in San Francisco's many museums and galleries, or out in nature soaking up colors and shapes and smells and textures. I hope you will visit my website and see more of my work.
