New Zealand artist Cath Sheard has been painting seriously for the last few years and has a Diploma of Arts & Creativity (Honours).
As a Librarian Cath has a deep love of words; this, coupled with her interest in people and the local surrounds, informs her work. She works mainly in watercolour and acrylic, and in a variety of styles. |

Much of Cath Sheard's work leans more toward abstraction – particularly of the local landscape from which she draws much of her energy and inspiration.
