Chris Bolmeier Fine Art Portfolio

Chris Bolmeier paints for the sheer joy of expression. Early in Chris' career she was a performing artist so painting was a natural transition.

Chris Bolmeier Artist Statement:
'If it doesn't look finished, stop painting.' While painting I am unaware of anything else and have mistakenly walked out of my house to water the lawn in my slip... and that's why I love to paint. Art is my escape route, and I can't think of any other way I would rather spend my time.

Painting affords me the opportunity to forget where I am, who I am, and how I'm dressed. It also allows me to hyper focus on something that only I can uniquely create. When God was passing out skills, I was in the unconventional 'skill set' line. And I can thank him for that or I wouldn't be able to paint. Abstract is my forte, but I love it all.
