Using colour, shapes and texture when painting abstracts, my spirits and emotions are free and in total harmony to create an interesting and enjoyable piece of art. I hope they bring a smile to your face and joy into your heart. I'm working a lot with my palette knife lately; ala prima in oil or acrylic on canvas and also using sand or eggshells to get lots of textures. Mainly working from memories, big cities always have fascinated and inspired my creativity. |

Growing up on a farm in Germany I have always been very connected to nature and painting was just a natural thing to do. In my heart I am still connected to my homeland and many places in Europe where I traveled and many memories are found in my paintings.
My favourite subjects are landscapes and city scenes in modern design, unique still life designs and also flowers, especially poppies.
