When I was in the second grade at Love Elementary in Houston, Texas, my crayon drawing of a doctor's side view carrying a bag was displayed at The Houston Museum of Fine Art. That was over 65 years ago.

I am an American impressionist whose work is spontaneous. All of my works are in oil. I try to capture the essence of the scene, rather than show great concern for details. The work is meant to express feeling, mood, and emotion to uplift, inspire, and capture beauty, rather than provoke or offend. In the future, I plan to paint with fewer strokes, use more color, and stop sooner. Add to that slow down and study the work. Perhaps not!

Most of my work has not been viewed by the public.
