Gail Taylor - Copper artwork

Gail Taylor loves working with metal. Gail's vision is influenced by various foliages that each season brings forth. Watching what emerges during the process is exciting, because the end result is always unique and never the same. Gail now maintains a studio in the desert near the Santa Rosa Mountains, where the strong sun and the desert colors have added a new dimension - not only to her art itself, but also to the technique and the processes.

Gail Taylor Artist Statement:
I find myself returning to the solitude of the forests and wilderness for inspiration. My present environment takes me on a journey through the mountains of La Quinta, CA. I find this landscape an inspirational palette of sculptural forms which I hope to create.
