For a time, life took him away from his dream to become an artist. He immigrated with his family to Quebec, Canada, completed a Certificate in Visual Arts in 2002 and his career as a visual artist began. He discovered he had a knack for drawing, a taste for vivid colors and contrast and a strong inclination for surrealism and portraiture. He's not obsessed by 'style' other than the inherent style of his artistic personality. Freedom and diversity are most important to him.
His belief as an artist is the same as Paul Klee who said, 'this diving into the Depths - you can call it dream, idea, imagination - will not be taken seriously before you associate it with the plastical means to become Work. Only then the Weird Things become Realities. Realities of art, which expand the limits of life as it is usually. Because they do not reproduce the visible, with more or less temperament but produce a Secret Vision.'
DAnu sees no harm in reproducing the visible, rather with MORE temperament than with less, but his profound wish is to succeed one day to produce that secret vision, still laying around, somewhere deep inside him.
