Iskra is a concept-driven artist working in mixed media, printmaking, photography, powdered pigment and watercolor as well as new hybrid digital/analogue methods. With a background in letterforms and calligraphic art, her work shows a strong sense of design and may include visual narrative, exploration of symbol systems and her own writing. She is currently focused on a series of unique transfer monoprints called 'Wayfinding' about the language of the street. She lives in Seattle Washington.
