New Jersey Artist Laura Barbosa is a Self-Representing Artist with over 20 years Experience Painting, Drawing and Sculpting. She is best known for her Animal Portraits, Abstract Expressionism, Outsider Art and Digital Art Prints. Laura Barbosa was born in Belleville, NJ in 1967.
Artist Statement:
My Artwork has been described by others as 'an embarrassment of riches in a colorful world of subconscious thinking.' It is like a journey into the deepest corner of my mind which pulls out current ideas and accumulations of my past experiences, welding them together and presenting them to the world, allowing the viewer to create their own conclusions and individual meanings that are all their own.'
“I believe that Art is the best investment you will ever make. Where else can you purchase a piece of someone's soul? Art is the best foot I can put forward into the world that leads my clients into a window where they can peer into my soul and maybe find something they can relate to. Maybe find a part of me that is also a part of them. After all, we are all connected in some way. ART CONNECTS US ALL WITH EACH OTHER!”

This Public Collection has raised $7500.00 for the Bright and Beautiful Therapy Dog Org. to help maintain their training and education for the welfare of Patients throughout America.
