Lori Boast - Premium Artist |
I have been an artist for as long as I can remember, and a burgeoning naturalist and conservator as well. Highlights of any trip always have either art or animals in them or both! Telling your parents you want to be an artist when I was growing up, didn't garner much support, so I meandered and created when I could, then settled on a career in IT, going for the money but leaving myself unfulfilled. Through the years I created some finished works solely for myself, and other works in response to contests that gave me rules and a deadline. Rethinking it all and finding my need increasing, I have taken time to hone my skills, expand my repertoire, and feed my soul with the creative process. |

It is also my very sincere desire to raise funds with my art to support conservation efforts, endangered wildlife, and humane efforts. Too few of us humans care, less do anything, and we need an army of fine hearts and minds to save what's left on this planet. The need is critical. But the light is bright. Reading the results of David Shepherd's efforts is uplifting.
So if you have a voice- speak, a pen- write, a paintbrush- paint; for many voices make a shout, many letters make a statement, and many paintings make a mosaic, that will be loud, and clear and impossible to ignore!
