A native of the South Shore of Montreal, Marion Landry has been fond of painting since childhood. In 1999, after studying design and 3D animation in Montreal, Quebec, she left her home province for British Columbia and settled in Vancouver. Marion Landry has recently turned her focus towards the landscapes surrounding her in Western Canada. She is a young aspiring artist, who feels the most important aspect to painting begins with feeling our surroundings and absorbing everything they have to offer. Marion's keen eye for observation and a natural sense of design are key elements in producing her art. |

Marion Landry interprets emotions and captures the moment. Her  landscapes are bold, expressive and full of movement. They are characterized by many textures, abundant colours and sinuous brush stokes. Landry hopes that through her paintings, others will experience their surroundings again, with a freer mind.
Marion Landry Artist Statement: My motivation is inspired by nature, her colors and movement create emotions in which I interpret. It is the very energy that flows freely from nature. This is what I see, what I paint!

The indescribable beauty found in nature, its unlimited range of colors, texture, and sounds. These are the vibes; my vibes of inspiration.
