Michele Mastrangelo's creativity comes from looking through a camera lens. She likes to make sure she composes a great picture so there is minimal fixing when she paints it. Michele makes sure the shadows are just right, the sky is the right color, and whatever else catches her eye when holding the camera. The images are then tweaked to perfection on her computer.
Michele Mastrangelo Artist Statement:
I learned my love for art through my Graphic Design School in 2003. We had a class for painting and one assignment was to paint a famous face and it was all over ever since. I am 4 years new into the world of art and theres no stopping me now. I have been teaching myself how to paint ever since through reading, allot of practice, studying art, and art classes. Saving up to go on a couple of artist tours. Graphic Design has helped me for setting up my website and all my creative ideas using graphic programs.
I also have an Interior Design background which helps me with color and picking backgrounds for displaying my paintings on the web.
I carry my camera everywhere I go and take most of my pictures to paint. I make sure I compose a great picture so I have minimal fixing to do while painting and can strictly concentrate on my works of art.
