I've always been in a creative industry as a graphic, industrial & exhibit designer and owner. After 38 years on a worldwide journey of design and discovery, I began painting again in 2002. In 2005 I purchased a giclee business and when I'm not painting, produce quality reproductions on canvas or watercolour paper for myself and over 60 Western Canadian Artists.
Artist Statement: You won't find 'artspeak' here. I'm simply documenting on canvas my global travels, prairie roots and home province of British Columbia. Although I studied primarily under abstract expressionists, I paint in a realistic style. I'm influenced by the beauty of nature, the impressionist period and a warm happy palet. My mixed media images come from years of travel photos waiting to be reworked to see the light of day. They are more diverse and usually with tongue in cheek.
