Rose Beattie is a Canadian artist living at Christina Lake, B.C. She is primarily self-taught and has worked exclusively in watercolour for the past sixteen years. Christina Lake, known as the 'oasis of the Kootenays', is a popular vacation destination because of its mountains, lakes and vineyards. 'To be able to live and paint in an area surrounded by incredible natural beauty is pure joy.' |
