Rose Beattie is a Canadian artist living at Christina Lake, B.C. Canada. She is primarily self-taught and has worked exclusively in watercolour for the past 11 years. Christina Lake, known as the 'oasis of the Kootenays', is a popular vacation destination because of its mountains, lakes and vinyards. 'To be able to live and paint in an area surrounded by incredible natural beauty is pure joy.' |

Rose has exhibited her work in galleries in Alberta and B.C. Her work can be found in private collections in Canada, USA, Scotland and New Zealand. She is a member of the Grand Forks Art Gallery, the Christina Lake Arts and Artisans Society, and the Federation of Canadian Artists.
