Born in Brazil in 1950, she spent her childhood surrounded by an artistic environment provided by the many musicians in the family.
Raised and educated in Brazil and in Israel, she went on to enjoy a successful career as a chemical engineer both in Brazil and in the United States where she has lived since the 1980’s.
In spite of her decision to pursue a career in engineering she had the desire to dedicate more of her time and energy to nurture the artist in her. She was finally able to realize her dream when she retired to explore her artistic side and paint full time.
She has studied with several artists through classes provided but the museum where she now lives in Florida but she considers herself primarily a self-taught artist who believes that all education is self education.
Having lived in several countries with strikingly different cultures has considerably broadened her perception of the world.
