The paintings are not preplanned in terms of subject matter, but are driven by colour and by intuition. I feel that all paintings are a conversation between the viewer and the artist. The conversation can take many turns, and the viewer may or may not see the paintings the same way that I do. That is what makes abstract painting so exciting to me.
