Terry Greenhough finds his source of inspiration outdoors. His imagery comes from his activities as a skier, camper, cyclist, motor cyclist and gardener. Terry looks for the light and abstract patterns that go to make up the illusion of reality. He looks for depth of contrast within the shadows looking for that subtle change of tone or light. |
Terry Greenhough is an artist and a teacher. Terry's artworks are done with: acrylics, Pen and Ink, mixed media-acrylics with Pen and Ink. He paints subjects such as: florals, landscapes, machinery, old vehicles, architecture. Terry Greenhough studied at the University of Manitoba (B.F.A.) and University of British Columbia (Diploma in Art Education). Terry has been a member of the Salmon Arm Arts Council for 3 years.
Early Art Shows: Kelowna, Oliver, one man shows in Salmon Arm, Jurors choice at Shuswap Lake Festival of The Arts Displayed work at the Royal Bank Salmon Arm and the Salmon Arm Library.
Terry Greenhough's works have been sold abroad in England, Trinidad, Germany, Thialand, Japan. In Canada: Ontario, Winnipeg Manitoba, Kelowna and Salmon Arm, British Columbia. Terry's prices range from $80.00 - $3000.00.
Terry attended workshops with Jack Shadbolt from Vancouver, Bruce Crawford of Summerland and Courses in Canadian Contemporary Painting, Acrylic Painting Workshop with Teyjah K. Mc Aren, Art marketing seminar by Alice Rich. He has also attended the following workshops: Sharon Olfert in watercolours and Janice Robertson, Kiff Holland and Robert Genn in acrylics.
