Ute's vibrant, expressionistic paintings are in numerous private and corporate collections internationally. She has exhibited widely in collective and solo shows, including an invitational solo exhibition at the MUSEUM OF MEXICO CITY. At age sixteen Ute entered an apprenticeship in cabinet making in Germany and received her Journeyman Diploma in 1963. Later she studied art with Gerda Werner in Germany, Gita Segerscog in Mexico City and at the EMILY CARR COLLEGE OF ART in Vancouver, BC Canada.
Ute lives in Ajijic and is represented in Mexico by GALERIA VERTICE in Guadalajara, Mexico, GALLERIA DANTE in Puerto Vallarta. Mexico, and SOL MEXICANO GALERIA DE ARTE in Ajijic, Mexico.
