Vivian Kuhn was born, Vivian Geen, at her Grandparent's homestead at Reston, Manitoba. When people comment on the happiness and joy related in her paintings Vivian refers to her background growing up on 'Sunnyside Farm' in Kelowna, B.C. and says, 'Well, what else would you expect?'
Vivian's whimsical, colourful watercolour world is presented to you with much 'tongue-in-cheek' humour. Her unique, decorative design style has evolved naturally as she has dedicated herself to evoking 'warm, fuzzy memories' for many people. 'Valentino', the irreverent seagull, follows her about putting in an appearance in many of her paintings. Young and old alike enjoy Vivian's work. She is a popular illustrator for children's books.
